Description

This class is for middle and high school aged kids who are looking to prepare for the high school sailing team. The class will be taught on 420s (the boats used in high school sailing). Students will learn:

• Boat parts

• Basic racing skills

• Crewing and driving skills

• Boat handling

• Tactics and course management skills

College and high school instructors build on prior knowledge...instruction is tailored to sailing levels.

Age & Experience

13-18

Intermediate

• Successful Completion of Intro to Racing class

• Students should feel comfortable sailing a boat by themselves or with a crew.

$125 for 1 week session consisting of 4 classes
